ITALIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP U23 / SENIOR | RACE 1 | March 9 | CAMASTRA Motta (ME)

 

The Italian Enduro under 23 Championship has finally started in Camastra (Me) and has been characterized by a cold weekend with periods of sun, rain and hail on the mountains overlooking Sicily. The racetrack of 50 km is a mix of little pathways between fast tracks, with two very long and well-drawn special stages.

A Cross Test in a narrow river near the paddock and an Enduro test of more than seven minutes that proved to be very demanding for the athletes that have been waiting for this first test. The weather and the difficult track conditions made the event a hard test for all the riders, putting everyone to the test lap after lap, and Paola Riverditi riding her Husqvarna Te 125 finished 3rd in the Ladies Category.

Paola also participated in the first round of the Italian Overall Championship held in Italy Alassio March 2. The challenging racetrack developed between the sea and the rough trails of the hills between Alassio and Albenga offered three special tests: the first "Cross Test" on the beach, to follow the enduro and then the extreme test. For Paola finishing the race confirmed to be a great training day in order to get ready for the races ahead, especially for the first of the Enduro European Championship Races to be held in Antas Spain 29 | March 30.
